During the leadup to Halloween on Mossy Bottom farm, The Farmer accidentally destroys his sheep flock's secret pumpkin patch. Shaun becomes a mad scientist to fix the problem, creating a potion to regrow the pumpkins overnight, but it ends up in The Farmer's possession. Mistaking it for a hair growth serum, he applies it all over, hoping to impress the town vet, whom he has a crush on. The potion causes The Farmer's hair to grow wildly out of control, turning him into a shaggy beast resembling Bigfoot. While going through Mossingham, The Farmer inadvertently scares the townspeople, who chase him into the woods, while his dog Bitzer tries to track him down, unaware of his transformation. Shaun and the flock race to make an antidote for the growth potion as the farm's pumpkins begin to grow uncontrollably. The Vet aspires to capture the "beast" with the hope of sending him to Bigfoot Island, not knowing it is The Farmer. Shaun and the flock, aided by Bitzer, use a crane to retrieve a crate from a ship presumably carrying The Farmer. As the ship sails away, it is revealed the crate is full of fluffy toys, and The Farmer is still on route to the island. They enlist the help of the vet, who through DNA testing discovered The Farmer is the beast. Shaun chases after the ship, rescuing the farmer. Back at the farm, the locals rally against the "beast". Using an overgrown carved pumpkin and a car, Bitzer and Timmy create the illusion that The Beast has been eaten. Shaun sprays the antidote into the mouth of the carved pumpkin, returning The Farmer to his usual appearance. The flock rejoices and The Farmer asks the vet to accompany him to a local dance. In a short mid-credit scene, a crow drinks the remnants of the growth potion out of a bin. ^ .mw-parser-output cite.citation{font-style:inherit;word-wrap:break-word}.mw-parser-output .citation q{quotes:"\"""\"""'""'"}.mw-parser-output .citation:target{background-color:rgba(0,127,255,0.133)}.mw-parser-output .id-lock-free.id-lock-free a{background:url("//upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/65/Lock-green.svg")right 0.1em center/9px no-repeat}.mw-parser-output .id-lock-limited.id-lock-limited a,.mw-parser-output .id-lock-registration.id-lock-registration a{background:url("//upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d6/Lock-gray-alt-2.svg")right 0.1em center/9px no-repeat}.mw-parser-output .id-lock-subscription.id-lock-subscription a{background:url("//upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/aa/Lock-red-alt-2.svg")right 0.1em center/9px no-repeat}.mw-parser-output .cs1-ws-icon a{background:url("//upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4c/Wikisource-logo.svg")right 0.1em center/12px no-repeat}body:not(.skin-timeless):not(.skin-minerva) .mw-parser-output .id-lock-free a,body:not(.skin-timeless):not(.skin-minerva) .mw-parser-output .id-lock-limited a,body:not(.skin-timeless):not(.skin-minerva) .mw-parser-output .id-lock-registration a,body:not(.skin-timeless):not(.skin-minerva) .mw-parser-output .id-lock-subscription a,body:not(.skin-timeless):not(.skin-minerva) .mw-parser-output .cs1-ws-icon a{background-size:contain;padding:0 1em 0 0}.mw-parser-output .cs1-code{color:inherit;background:inherit;border:none;padding:inherit}.mw-parser-output .cs1-hidden-error{display:none;color:var(--color-error,#bf3c2c)}.mw-parser-output .cs1-visible-error{color:var(--color-error,#bf3c2c)}.mw-parser-output .cs1-maint{display:none;color:#085;margin-left:0.3em}.mw-parser-output .cs1-kern-left{padding-left:0.2em}.mw-parser-output .cs1-kern-right{padding-right:0.2em}.mw-parser-output .citation .mw-selflink{font-weight:inherit}@media screen{.mw-parser-output .cs1-format{font-size:95%}html.skin-theme-clientpref-night .mw-parser-output .cs1-maint{color:#18911f}}@media screen and (prefers-color-scheme:dark){html.skin-theme-clientpref-os .mw-parser-output .cs1-maint{color:#18911f}}Webster, Amanda (17 September 2026).
